Okay, so I know that there are many types of dresses in the market, and it is confusing sometimes. So the reason I post this is to show you the basic dresses that we have in the market.

Empire Waist Dress. This dress is actually kinda same with baby doll dress. Let's make it easier to understand. Empire waist dress is just a long version of baby doll dress. But somehow I feel like this dress is kinda same with maxi dress. I think the difference between maxi dress and empire waist dress is maxi dress is more informal and empire waist dress is more formal. Don't really know why they have so many names.>"<

And then, Suit Dress! Suit dress is a dress that come with a matching jacket. Women usually wear it for work.

Peplum Dress. I think most of you know how's it looks like. This dress is sort of famous recently. Basically, this dress looks like two pieces, but is actually one piece.

Besides dresses, there are many different types of sleeves too! These are some of the basic sleeves sew on dresses.

Puff sleeves. Puff sleeves is a very full, short sleeve that ends above elbow.  It is very puffy and normally it is used on children's dresses, evening dresses or wedding dresses!

Cap Sleeves. You can see many dresses with cap sleeves as they are very comfy and appealing. Cap sleeves only cover the shoulder area and they do not go below the armpit level.

Bell Sleeves or Lantern Sleeves. It is narrow at top and it flares at its bottom edge like a bell. One of my favorite sleeves!

Dolman Sleeves. This sleeves are kinda long and narrow at the lower part and it is wide at the top. It is kinda like a butterfly sleeves.

Bishop Sleeves. This sleeves kinda look like Bell Sleeves. But it is longer and much more fuller at the bottom of the sleeves.

Leg of Mutton Sleeves. As the name implies, it looks like a mutton's leg. It is made by enlarging the cap area, tapering the fullness towards the elbow level.
